As you may possibly know there has been some crazy stuff going on in Japan and we are in the process of making more products to sell. Hopefully soon we will have those Acrylic Keychains and Cell Accessories!
There are many organizations out in Japan trying to help the best they possibly can and the owner just heard back from her relatives in Japan saying they stocked up on canned food, but the environment and water is bad. A close friend of ours, Rayko, is from Japan and has been devastated by the disaster and is doing everything she can to give back with benefit shows and giving 100% of her bands' merchandise sales to Japan Red Cross.
So Kute Creations, what are you guys doing in all this? We saw a video of a dog standing by his injured friend in the midst of the disastehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifr and we were very shocked and almost forgot about the animals out there! If you haven't seen the video, below is the video but warning: have tissues at hand.
We have found World Vets. "World Vets is a non-government organization (NGO) providing veterinary aid around the globe, in collaboration with animal advocacy groups, foreign governments, U.S. and foreign military groups and veterinary professionals abroad." and there is an article describing how they are helping in Japan post-Tsunami here<--Link
We want to help the poor animals by helping World Vets have enough funds! So So Kute Creations making hair accessories (headbands, clips, hats, etc) and keychains (once we receive the funding for it)and adding them to our etsy site. 25% of the money coming in will go to World Vets. There are a few items on Etsy at the moment and hopefully the new items will be posted soon.
